HOW IS THE OIL PRODUCED?
We source our highest qualilty black sesame seeds from our organic farmers. Oil is extracted from these seeds using traditional wood press technique ensuring maximum nutrients are retained. Oil is then stored in sustainable glass jar.
HOW TO USE SESAME OIL?
1. Use it in cooking - Start experimenting with different flavours by incorporating it in your meals. It is commonly used in Asian cuisine, particularly for stir-fries. Add a teaspoon of the oil in a heated wok, saute vegetables of your choice, add seasonings and herbs and stir-fry on high heat for a few minutes before serving.
You can also add it directly to your salads and marinades.
2. Use it as a massage oil - In Ayurveda, sesame oil is extensively used as a massaging oil because of its warming property and its ability to seep deep into the skin. It helps strengthen the bones and balance the body. It helps in improving the circulation of blood, nourishes the skin, contributing to the elimination of toxins from the body.
Sesame oil has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. It is a good moisturizer, helps promotes regeneration of healthy skin, has anti-aging properties, and is considered to be a natural SPF.
3. Hair care: Sesame Oil is rich in Vitamin B-1, calcium, phosphorus and many more which is great for your hair health.
