Groundnuts are known by many other local names such as earth nuts, Peanuts goober peas, monkey nuts, pygmy nuts and pig nuts. Despite its name and appearance, the peanut is not a nut, but rather a legume. They have a rich nutty flavour, sweet taste, crunchy texture and over and above a relatively longer shelf life. The raw GROUNDNUTS used in the making of our oil are sourced from the local farmers of Western Coasts of India, promoting our mission of supporting the farmers families around India, while the age-old ‘Wooden Chakka Technique’ is used making these the purest form of oil on Earth!
