Protein Rich Sattu Shake Recipe

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons organic sattu powder

1 cup A2 buttermilk

1/2 teaspoon cumin powder

1 teaspoon black salt

Few drops of lemon juice


Method:

  • Take a mixing bowl and add 2 tablespoons of organic sattu powder.

  • Gradually add 1/4 cup of A2 buttermilk to the sattu powder.

  • Stir the mixture continuously to form a smooth paste without any lumps. This step is crucial to ensure the final shake is smooth and creamy.

  • Once the sattu is well-mixed into a lump-free paste, pour in the remaining 3/4 cup of A2 buttermilk.

  • Use a whisk or a spoon to blend the mixture thoroughly. Ensure the sattu paste is fully dissolved into the buttermilk.

  • Sprinkle in 1/2 teaspoon of cumin powder. This adds a subtle earthy flavour and aids digestion.

  • Add 1 teaspoon of black salt to enhance the taste. Black salt also has digestive properties and gives the shake a distinctive flavour.

  • Squeeze a few drops of fresh lemon juice into the mixture. The lemon juice not only adds a refreshing tang but also balances the flavours.

  • Give the shake a final good stir to ensure all ingredients are well combined.

  • Taste the shake and adjust the salt or lemon juice if needed according to your preference.

  • You can garnish with a pinch of extra cumin powder or a slice of lemon on the rim of the glass for a decorative touch.


Serve the shake chilled, or you can add a few ice cubes if you prefer it extra cold. Enjoy this protein-rich, refreshing sattu shake as a nutritious beverage perfect for any time of the day.
